Dena Marcos, CHRP, MACP

Dena holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University . She is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a Certified Human Resources Professional. She has been trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Coaching.

Using client-centred and emotion-focused approaches, She facilitates opportunities for clients to transform challenging emotional patterns to help improve healthy day-to-day functioning and relationships with others

She has ten years of experience in community agencies and post-secondary institutions supporting adolescents, young adults, mature learners and newcomers to Canada with career and life transitions. Additionally, she has an interest in working with people experiencing grief and loss, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, family and relationship difficulties and challenging emotional patterns.

She is passionate about individual transformation and growth and is honoured to accompany people on their therapeutic journey.
