Marina
Marina is a Registered Social Worker and the founder of Midtown Toronto Counselling Centre. She is certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). She has a speciality interest in working with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and ADHD, both of which can be debilitating when left untreated. Marina is also passionate about assertiveness training, building self-esteem, and working with individuals in abusive or toxic relationships.
Allison
Allison Correia is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with over 5 years of experience working in post-secondary institutions advocating for the rights of students who need support navigating challenging situations. This experience has provided the tools to help individuals learn how to advocate for themselves. This has translated into her work as a psychotherapist in helping others realize their full-potential. One of Allison’s main goals is to provide a safe space for clients to be their most raw and authentic selves. It is through this process where clients can truly learn about who they are and what they are capable of, in order to feel confident about tackling the many challenges that life throws their way.
Dena
Dena is a Registered Pyschotherapist (Qualifying) and Career Counsellor with over 10 years of experience in community agencies and post-secondary institutions supporting adolescents, young adults, mature learners and internationally educated professionals with career and life transitions, and has volunteered with non-profit organizations in Toronto to support underserved communities. Her work with diverse populations has helped her develop empathy for people's unique lived experiences.
